The project Intelligent system of support and optimization in the field of network assets management is carried out as part of the competition of the National Center for Research and Development No. 6 / 1.2 / 2017 PBSE sector program.
The goal of the project is to develop and implement a prototype of an IT system supporting maintenance decisions. An integral part of the system will be artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, which will allow for process innovation based on optimizing the frequency of repairs and inspections of infrastructure elements based on system recommendations. The system, based on monitored infrastructure parameters and external data, will be able to estimate the status of each device and issue recommendations regarding maintenance activities. By monitoring the current state of the equipment, maintenance decisions will be made on the basis of the real state of the infrastructure. The implementation of the system will enable the detection of probable failures, thanks to which it will be possible to carry out a preventive inspection before the device breaks down. Reducing the number of failures will have a positive impact on the quality of services provided by PKP Energetyka S.A. for external entities. In addition, the material consumption will decrease, and, consequently, the costs of maintenance processes.
