Atende Software won another tender at NASK for anti DDoS system

Atende Software, developer of redGuardian platform, won the proceedings announced by NASK PIB for provision of protection services of the Nationwide Educational Network against DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.

The redGuardian platform from Atende Software met all of the customer’s requirements – including capacity (up to 100 Gbit/s of cleaned traffic), list of mitigated attacks, activation and deactivation time of protection as well as mechanisms for detecting attacks and traffic anomalies. The total contract value is 1.37 million PLN.

Nationwide Educational Network it’s fast, secure and free Internet in every polish school. The project was created thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Digitization, and its Operator is the NASK National Research Institute. The redGuardian platform protects the network against DDoS attacks, ensuring access to schools of cleaned traffic. The service works in two modes: on demand and continuous. In the event of a DDoS attack, traffic is automatically directed to the nearest redGuardian scrubbing center.
